The PPLC understands the adverse impact that a lack of qualified and engaged workforce can have on the community behavioral health system.  We are committed to creating strategic initiatives and informing policy that will address the ever changing needs of the behavioral health workforce.

Pennsylvania Primary Care Loan Repayment Program

The Pennsylvania Primary Care Loan Repayment Program provides grant funding for educational loan repayment to primary care practitioners serving medically underserved populations.  Educational loan repayment is an incentive to recruitment and retention of practitioners for service in federally designated Health Professional Shortage Areas and other underserved communities:

• Applications are accepted yearly, please continue to check the Loan Repayment Program's website for updates on enrollment.
• Download the Request for Applications (RFA) #67-75.
• Program information, application procedures and application instructions are found in RFA#67-75.
• All applications must be submitted via the Loan Repayment Program's web-based application through the program's website.
